Othello was great.

If you have the money, I recommend it.

My GOODNESS. Denzel Washington and Jake Gyllenhaal were everything. The rest of the cast was amazing as well.

I loved it, but the restrictions were a bit too much - like one lady’s phone started ringing (I assumed it sat funky in her pocket - so the button turned on her phone? Because the staff were adamant in makin sure your phone was off) and she couldn’t get it out of the LOCKED POUCH we were required to put it in to turn it off toward the end of the show. The restrictions put in place to keep people from re-entering during any time of the show was a bit much - like we had to use the bathroom in 15 minutes and luckily some of us made it back in time so we could see the rest of the show. Some people were let in during the second half only because they didn’t make it in time for the first half…and these tickets were mad expensive.

I don’t think it was worth the strictness of the company for this - it would be especially difficult for people with health problems; however, if you are able to make it and love broadway, it’s worth seeing it.
